You are to create on your iPad either a keynote presentation using the keynote app or an iBook using the creative book builder app. You may not have used either of these apps before so experiment with them to learn how to use them. Spend approx 15 minutes doing this, there is a help button under tools menu in keynote.
The presentation should be titled "What is Multimedia?" You are to research the Internet using Safari on your iPad. Find out the following information about multimedia.
- Define the term multimedia.
- What are the different digital media or data types used in multimedia products.
- What are the main purposes of multimedia products.
- Give some examples of multimedia products used for each of these purposes.
- List some of the ways multimedia products can be distributed eg. On a CD.
- Name the different file types for each of the digital media types eg. Text is the digital media type and a .doc is a file type for text. These could be shown in a table.
- Include examples of each of the digital media types in your presentation.
- What does the term interactive multimedia mean?
